With Neeraj’s grit, ingenuity and vision, SEMCO Group has risen to becoming India’s single-most company with a market share of 75% in Railway wheels and axle sets. It is an extraordinary feat being the largest private sector player in the country in its domain. This flagship company of the SEMCO Group has a capacity to manufacture 30,000 fully assembled sets of railway wheels and axles per annum, catering both the Indian and global markets. The group turnover today totals an outstanding Rs. 400 crore boosted by a hypersonic growth rate. The expanse of SIPL is such that virtually every railway rolling stock manufacturer in India has procured its products and services from SEMCO. In 2007, Neeraj led SEMCO into successfully entering into a joint venture with CNR Datong Electric Locomotive Co. Ltd., China to tender to the huge demands for the global market. He is a Director and also heads the Sales and Marketing division there. Systems and Equipment Maintenance Co. (SEMCO), another wing of the Semco Group is a Government recognized export house, aggressively involved in the group’s assorted trading and export activities. More than a decade of expertise has alleviated the company’s precision in delivering the highest quality products to its client base across the world.
Semco Forge Pvt. Ltd. (SFPL), another offshoot of the Semco Group is a name to reckon with in the forging world. Neeraj Singal successfully setup a world-class forging facility at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad in 2004. The product basket of SFPL encompasses truck/car parts, auto ancillaries, valves, flanges and more. Yet again, SFPL aims at giving the best to its valued customers carefully studying their specifications. In 2008, the capacity and facility was further expanded and a trading office in Beijing was setup.
Under the banner of Semco Infratech Pvt. Ltd, the group is engaged in the infrastructure and real estate segments, creating and providing infrastructure for the group requirements besides looking up for new avenues in railway engineering and infrastructure. Neeraj also acts in the capacity of a director here.
