Sustained effort, controlled aggression and concentrated energy define Neeraj Singal. How he has constructed his determination with the passion to go the farthest tells you he is the one who is willing to dare… and pursue. Neeraj stands out for his sense of diligence, determination, honesty, integrity and sheer passion in all his undertakings. Dynamic and contagiously enthusiastic, he carries an aura that finds people around him being more positive.

Born in Ambala, Haryana on 1st March 1970, Neeraj is the youngest child of the industrialist- philanthropist & a Mechanical Engineer by profession, Mr. Romesh Chand Singal and mother Mrs. Sudesh Singal. Being raised in a family where education, etiquette and propriety were given their due importance, Neeraj imbibed the spirit of rationalistic initiative and appreciation of greater intellectual ingenuity to cultivate himself as a true entrepreneur. After studying at the Modern School, Bharatpur he completed his graduation in Commerce (Honours) from Hans Raj College, Delhi University, in 1990 and subsequently, cleared ICWAI (I). Neeraj was keen to take up challenges, was progressive and had an immense clarity in vision to enter into newer realms and start his own venture.

Successfully incorporating in 1995, Neeraj setup NKS Financial Services Limited which was an enterprise dealing in Investment & Finance Activities. NKS continues to be the oldest company of the group, and is successfully running as on date. Come 1999, Neeraj setup Systems & Equipment Maintenance Co. Ltd with an objective to offer world class Railway Rolling Stock, Capital Goods & Project supplies. Over the next 8 years, SEMCO branched out to SEMCO Forge Pvt. Ltd., the country’s leading forging manufacturers and exporters of various forged and machined components. Today, SFPL commands a global presence with its clientele located in North America, Europe, Africa & Asia. 2008 marked setting up of Semco Infratech Pvt. Ltd which provides water treatment solutions for domestic equipment & industrial turnkey plants, guaranteeing a cost-efficient solution to meet water quality requirements to clients from various origins. 2009, Neeraj set up Semco Tech Services Pvt. Ltd. which provides pre and after sales services to foreign OEMs as required by the Defense / law enforcement agencies of Govt. of India. SEMCO has emerged as a monolith with the group turnover clocking 400Cr, but that doesn’t slacken Neeraj’s pace. He wants to move forward. He is a visionary who will continuously look for enhancing current systems and processes and maybe, a foray in other domains.

Neeraj is a traveler, and it is not just on account of driving a global business where he manages and interacts with businesses with widely diverse cultures. Neeraj has traveled several countries and with every trip he makes, he enjoys the ambience, the historic monuments & absorbs a part of the culture too. Neeraj also actively participates in a lot of personality development programs, taking time to think about his habits, values, personality, strengths & weaknesses. This helps him be a better judge of himself, and he considers this important for professional development & personal growth. Philanthropical as Neeraj is, he also raises the level and quality of corporate and personal giving. At day end, after charting out SEMCO’s road map, Neeraj comes home to wife & homemaker, Mansi Singal. The couple has an equally vibrant 16 year old son named Aakash and a 9 year old daughter, Muskaan, who like her name, exuberates matchless enthusiasm. They often watch TV, spend time reading books or go out on family picnics. The family is down-to-earth. They love simplicity and elegance, and believe in living life intensely.
